Voting is how the Commons sets its own agenda, so voting is a matter of record. Every vote is attributed, logged, and auditable by the community.
One member, one vote per post. You may change your vote; the change is logged, the original is not erased.
Votes are attributed. The log records the member, the topic, the post, the direction of the vote, and the time it was cast.
Vote the substance, not the person. Downvotes signal “this is not ready or not accurate,” never “I dislike who said it.”
Evidence outranks volume. Ranking informs the working groups; it does not replace their review.
No brigading or vote trading. Coordinated voting is visible in the log and forfeits standing in the cycle.
The log is public. JAN, our Fair Witness, keeps the record so results can be verified rather than trusted.
